**About Gandel Simulation Service**

The Women’s Gandel Simulation Service (GSS) in partnership with The University of Melbourne is a translational simulation service providing both simulation-based education and simulation for system and quality improvement and patient safety.

GSS provides interprofessional and interdisciplinary education and training focused on teams as well as clinical skills training and simulation for quality improvement, deploying a variety of simulation modalities combined with human factors, improvement, and implementation science to optimise teamwork and patient safety.

**About the role**

The Clinical Educator - Simulation, is a core role within the Gandel Simulation Service designed to work with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the expansion of the Women’s interprofessional simulation program and to report on key prescribed deliverables. In doing so the Clinical Educator will collaborate across professions and services to deliver and evaluate the impact of all GSS simulation activities, simulation-based education and simulation for quality improvement or staff, the hospital and GSS and its partner stakeholders including The University of Melbourne.

A regular day will see you:

- Deliver maternity scenarios in-situ
- Participate in translational simulation activities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and staff
- Promote simulation practice and clinical education

**About you**

We are looking for a person who is passionate about simulation based education and who can work independently to deliver simulation activities.

You’ll bring with you:

- Experience in management of maternity emergencies or simulation scenarios
- Ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders to run activities and promote the service
- Commitment to reflective practice
- Leadership skills
- You will be a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife
- Higher Qualification (or working towards) in Education, Simulation, Human Factors, Health Administration or other related field
