**Role Description/Criteria**

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
- The Deputy Principal: Community Engagement & Operations, supports the Principal with the educational leadership of the school community. This person is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of systems and processes specifically related to the management of staff. They also work closely with the Deputy Principal: Head of Learning & Teaching to lead educational initiatives that foster a seamless blend of academic excellence, community engagement, and operational efficiency._
- This role is a full-time position. While the offer of employment is of an ongoing nature, the tenure of the appointment of Deputy Principal: Community Engagement & Operations will be for a period of two years, commencing 29 January 2024._

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- The successful applicant will have VIT full registration and be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school.
- It is preferable that applicants be aspiring to principalship as part of their career progression.
- As St Kevin’s is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care, all applicants are expected to be knowledgeable of the current child safety requirements.

- Written statement addressing the criteria referencing evidence of achievements in relation to each point.
- Include the names of three referees, one of whom must be a Parish Priest.
