MDHS is seeing a dynamic and skilled Manager of Hospitality and Support Services to lead the coordination and effective management of our hospitality and support services across all campuses. Your expertise will be essential in providing exceptional food, environmental, laundry, linen and accommodation services whilst maintaining a high standard of service, supporting a customer and patient-centred focus and achieving required standards and maintenance of accreditation status for the health service

**Manager Hospitality & Support Services**

**Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight**

MDHS is seeing a dynamic and skilled Manager of Hospitality and Support Services to lead the coordination and effective management of our hospitality and support services across all campuses. Your expertise will be essential in providing exceptional food, environmental, laundry, linen and accommodation services whilst maintaining a high standard of service, supporting a customer and patient-centred focus and achieving required standards and maintenance of accreditation status for the health service.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, management, communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Food Services and / or Support Services management, preferably within a health service environment.
- Well-developed reporting writing and computer literacy including experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, management, communication and organisational skills.
- Formal qualifications relevant to the area of responsibility, which may include trade qualifications / Diploma in Catering / Management etc.
- Demonstrated experience in Food Services and / or Support Services management, preferably within a health service environment.
- Demonstrated experience in departmental financial management, including an awareness of purchasing, budgeting and tendering processes.
- Demonstrated experience in department management, including staff recruitment, rostering and performance management.
- Knowledge of relevant legislative, statutory and governmental requirements with regard to Hospitality and Support Services.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed reporting writing and computer literacy including experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of quality improvement and occupational health and safety.
