The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) has recently been re-established with a sole focus on gambling related licensing and compliance. This is an exciting time for us as we look to strengthen our industry collaboration and regulatory posture.

**About the Organisation**

The VGCCC is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. The organisation licenses, informs and educates, monitors and enforces the gambling industry through a risk-based approach to regulation. **The opportunity**

We have multiple Inspector vacancies across our Richmond office. Reporting to the Team Leader, the role is primarily responsible for carrying out audits, investigations and enforcement functions. These functions include compliance inspections, observations of the premises, conducting risk management discussions, conducting investigations and compiling reports and other documents for the purposes of prosecution or disciplinary action. When necessary, this role will recommend relevant enforcement actions, such as commencing a criminal investigation or other enforcement action in accordance with VGCCC policies and procedures.

This role will require working shift work, working to a 24-hour roster including afternoon, night and weekend shifts.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- The ability to work to a 24 hour roster;
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in a compliance or regulatory environment;
- Ability to identify issues to be investigated relating to relevant legislation, policy and/or operating procedures;
- The ability to make sound, timely and well-informed recommendations for alleged breaches of legislation administered by the Commission; and
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively and promote a positive workplace culture.
