THE JOB - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
- This Clinical Business Development Manager role in acute care (hospital), will be responsible for supporting and growing sales across Sydney’s northern suburbs.
- The territory will include public and private facilities (primarily hospitals), to deliver year on year sales growth across a range of products.
- The role will be responsible for the delivery of onsite education to customers, as part of the organisation’s market-leading after-sales support.
- This position will be supported by the Head of Clinical and Clinical Educators, who will help build education programs for you to deliver, that meet customer needs. Education may be delivered in varying formats, from short in-services on wards to more formal & comprehensive presentations and workshops. Training may be in person or virtual.
- The role will maintain and manage an appropriate new business funnel to deliver sales growth and develop and evolve prospects from opportunity through to implementation and execution and will develop territory plans that align with strategic goals.
- You will create proposals and drive agreed business plans and track progress of opportunities through Salesforce.
- You will develop robust, long-term relationships with customers and account manage key customers and conduct territory reviews to identify customer needs and areas for growth while developing solutions to maintain and support loyalty - education and value-added solutions.
- You will attend and support at local and national conferences/exhibitions to promote the company and identify and attend conferences to raise awareness of the company and promote products, increase customer contact network, and generate new business leads.
- You will travel within state to deliver clinical education as required.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor degree in nursing ideally, with at least 5 years’ acute nursing experience.
- A minimum of 3 years sales experience selling in consumables or medical device space.
- Experience working with public and private healthcare facilities, identifying growth opportunities, territory planning, pipeline management.
- Ability to decide on sales/commercial priorities for each account in portfolio to grow sales.
- Ability to identify opportunities/prospects to deliver new business sales targets.
