**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Hospitality Service worker (Kitchen Hand) at our Peter Arney House in Salter Point. This role is offered on a permanent part time basis working 38.30 hours per fortnight.

**Week 1**:
Monday: 1530-1900
Wednesday: 0700-1400

Friday: 1530-1900
Saturday: 1530-1900
Sunday: 0700-1500

**Week 2**:
Monday: 1530-1900
Wednesday: 0700-1400

Friday: 1530-1900
Saturday: 1530-1900
Sunday: 0700-1500

**Please note, days/hours are not flexible - you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.**

**ABOUT YOU**

As a Kitchen Hand you will be responsible for preparing, plating and serving meals, and providing assistance in the kitchen (making salads, baking cookies and bread etc.).

**_ Essential criteria:_**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a kitchen hand in an aged care/hospital environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines in accordance with routines and schedules
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and exemplary customer service focus
- Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
- Evidence of Flu (2024) and Covid Vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and reference checks
- Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
