An internationally recognised fire safety and security solutions provider in over 20 countries is now seeking a permanent **Emergency Response Operator** to work full time and join their passionate team on a rotating roster.

**Job Role and Summary**

As their new Emergency Response Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to respond to customers who press the Help Button. You will use your problem-solving expertise to determine the severity of the situation by liaising with the customer in need and, if necessary, directing the Ambulance service and notifying emergency contacts.

**Responsibilities**

Including what has been previously mentioned, your responsibilities will include:

- Work as part of a team to understand the reach of the services provided to make sure that customers needs are met and exceeded
- Use your Time Management Skills to provide timely and accurate responses and save lives
- Bring reassurance and peace of mind to both our customers and their family members as your guide them through various situations
- Notify the ambulance services and communicate critical emergency details
- Work with and supporting different areas within the business, including our Customer Service team.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Experience within Customer service with a passion of using your communication and listening skills in a rewarding role
- Have call center and/or inbound/outbound phone experience with stakeholders, clients, and/or service providers
- Computer literacy with good typing skills
- Shift work experience will be a bonus
- Adhering to Standard Works, Standard Operating Procedures or/and Work Instructions
- National Police clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain
- Medical clearance
- First Aid qualified and/or the ability to obtain and maintain
- Maintaining a reputation for caring and professional service to clients and their associated contacts
