After conducting an internal review and gap analysis to support the organization’s ongoing expansion, a new role has been created for a Clinical Portfolio Lead - Operations in a collaborative cancer trial group. The role is to in effect perform the sponsor role to oversee trials that are outsourced to external vendors and be responsible for the delivery of these studies.

This is a perfect opportunity to partake in the group’s continued growth, and you will be owning the project development processes, driving the operational success of clinical studies timelines, whilst supporting the coaching and mentorship of a Clinical Trial Assistant.

Working alongside the Clinical Portfolio Lead - Development, you will be a strong operational leader leading the design and delivery of high-quality project management plans, providing vendor oversight as a sponsor to sites and third-party vendors and the ongoing coordination of clinical trial operations support activities such as representing at ethnic, regulatory meetings, actively involved in recruitment, QMS and risk management activities and managing the procurement and budgeting including site contracts, payments.

So ideally, we are looking for you to bring:

- Experience as a Project Manager from either an academic setting or CRO/Pharma and working on Investigator Led research;
- Experience in developing high-quality project plans, supporting protocols and publication development and operational guidelines.
- Ability to hit the ground running and perform as a sponsor with confidence in managing negotiations with complex stakeholders;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with experience managing competing priorities and working in a fast-paced environment

This role is home-based, with a minimum of 1 office day per month. There is an opportunity to salary sacrifice up to $16k per year. You will be joining a well-respected and highly collaborative team, where they bring in-depth experience, viewpoints, and communication with each other for building the best culture for their community and they have an established social committee where they get together, and meet regularly for team bonding events.
