**Fixed Term Full time - 35 hours per week**

**Band 5 - $74,396 - $86,330 pro rata (+ 11% super)**

**Role includes an RDO**

We are pleased to offer an opportunity to become part of the Collections team at Hobsons Bay City Council as a Diversity and Inclusion Librarian. In this capacity, your responsibility will be to lead the implementation of specialised collections and services dedicated to cultivating diversity, inclusivity, and engagement within the municipality's diverse communities.

**What you’ll be working on**:

- Oversee the Home Library Service, maintaining Dyslexic Friendly collections, and developing the library's community languages.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure effective program delivery, top-notch customer service, and the acquisition of diverse, inclusive, and representative materials for the library's collection.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Able to engage and build purposeful relationships with stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively to a diverse range of audiences through strong written, digital and verbal skills
