Sales Manager

As Sales Manager you will lead and support the Sol-Millennium business to foster growth and continued success. The business is dynamic in our approach, calling on a wide variety of Healthcare Professionals and emphasising quality, value and patient-focus in their engagements.
You will work closely with Leadership, Marketing, and Medical to help derive and implement strategies with the Sol-M leadership team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the ANZ Sol-M busienss to new heights
- Develop business to meet customer needs and company objectives
- Implement individual development plans to meet strategic objectives
- Support marketing tools deployment and key selling messages delivery
- Implement effective territory management & segmentation strategies
- Collaborate with Marketing on promotion campaigns and materials
- Build business relationships with key opinion leaders and customers
- Work openly with internal stakeholders - Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs
- Dedicate time in the field with customers to build growth
- Sales Revenue and expense management - Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
- To ensure operational expense budgets are within plan.
- To support a key role in building the revenue and expense budgets for direct Accounts and distributors.
- To find opportunities to drive improvements in COGS, forecasting, and delivery.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Hospital Medical Devices experience, with a complete understanding of the Public and Private hospital network
- Proven ability to drive sales and to achieve/surpass objectives
- Strong understanding of KAM principles and strategic sales
- Developed analytical skills to review & optimise business plans
- Abiltiy to present products at all levels of an organistion
- Preferably with Clincial experience
- Action-oriented; accountable; drives for results.

Abilities:
- At least 5 years’ sales experience calling on hospitals within the Australian market.
- Commercial experience within the Healthcare industry with established relationships.
- Category experience in accute care and primary care sector in Syringes, needles, blood collection, vascular access and wound care, or other related products categories would be preferred.
- Strategic-thinking skills, ability to develop and implement a business plan.
- Strong at contracting, negotiating and managing key accounts.
- Experience in account planning, marketing strategies, new product launches, customer acquisition and relationship strategies.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Implementation of Salesforce or another major CRM software.
- Strong experience with consultative selling and sophisticated account management.
- Must work collaboratively across boundaries and borders.
- Must be self-motivated and disciplined.
Key Internal and External Relationships:
- Directly reports to Country Manager - ANZ
- Key stakeholders including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Sourcing, Logistics, and Finance functions.
