**The Business**
GenusPlus Group is an end to end service provider of power and communications infrastructure to customers in resources, power, utilities and communications sectors across Australia. We have entered into a Joint Venture (AKG) with Acciona and Kalpataru to deliver the Humelink Project in NSW.

HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission line which will connect Wagga Wagga, Bannaby and Maragle. It is one of the state’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 360 km of proposed new transmission lines, and new or upgraded infrastructure at three locations.

To meet our future energy demands, Australia needs to transition to a greater mix of low-emission renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar. HumeLink will deliver a cheaper, more reliable and more sustainable grid by increasing the amount of renewable energy that can be delivered across the national electricity grid, helping to transition Australia to a low carbon future.

**The Role**
Genus is seeking an experience Accounts Payable Lead to join our team in the Sydney CBD office to deliver quality in accounts payable, account reconciliation, general financial and administrative support in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Lead responsibilities will include:

- Managing all functions of Accounts Payable including the preparation of monthly and bimonthly payment runs, cash sale payment runs, and ad hoc payments.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and sole traders to resolve any queries.
- Creditor statement reconciliations.
- Generating weekly payment reports for payment approval.
- Managing a team of 2 Account Payable Officers.
- Any other administrative duties as required from time to time/

**Essential Skills / Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the engineering/construction industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Track record of successful delivery of timely and accurate accounts payable services.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and intermediate Excel skills.
- Ability to work effectively within required timeline.

**Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications**
- Experience in utilities and/or construction and/or resources industry.
