**Role Details**

The Department for Child Protection (DCP) is seeking two **Quality and Performance Officers** to join on a full-time term basis.

The role is responsible for:

- Providing operational leadership and governance to implement and sustain systems to ensure strategic objectives and outcomes are in line with the DCP Clinical Governance Framework.
- Using clinical, quality and practice knowledge to provide strategic and operational leadership.
- Managing complex quality projects and programs and contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic directions, policies, goals and objectives.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of learning and development programs for DCP employees and the DCP Consumer Engagement strategy.

**About You**

We are looking for an analytical expert with experience in incident management and a broad understanding of the child protection system in South Australia.

To be successful in this role you will have high level written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience managing quality programs and policy development.

If you have the ability to undertake in-depth analysis and monitor national and international trends in child protection practice, then this is the role for you

**Special Conditions**

**Essential**: An appropriate Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership or entitles registration with the relevant Association/Board.
