Lutheran Homes Group (LHG) is one of the largest not-for-profit aged care and retirement living providers in SA. About the role
We are currently seeking a passionate leader to join our growing Home Care team. This permanent full-time role is an opportunity for you to take the next step in your career or to consolidate and further develop your existing leadership skills and experience.

Reporting to the Home Care Manager and working closely with the Client Services Manager and Quality and Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality care and services by leading our community care team. You will provide advice, coordination, planning, review and assessment of all aspects of their care and services delivery across the Home Care division to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both clients and staff.

Key Duties
- In collaboration with the Home Care Manager and Client Services Manager, manage the day to day operations of the Home Care team to ensure that it operates efficiently and effectively.
- To be a role model and leader in supporting and affirming the service excellence culture, vision and mission of LHG
- To support the development of high performing site based teams
- Supervise and support team members to meet directives, to adhere to policies and Standard Operating Procedures of LHG
- Identify and encourage opportunities for improvement in the delivery of services to the consumers, contribute to and manage the LHG Continuous Improvement Programme in the department
- Provide supervision and leadership to personal care workers and domestic workers, including being the primary point of contact

About you
- Nursing, Allied Health or Relevant Community Services Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration (where relevant)
- Minimum three years of previous experience providing in-home aged care
- Leadership experience
- Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (face-to-face and written).
