**About the role**:
The ICT Analyst role is a Melbourne CBD based role within the Service Integration and Management (SIAM) team of Victoria Police. In this role you will be responsible for the IT Change Management coordination activities. You will further assist with coordinating the onboarding of new or existing contracted services in a seamless manner, whilst enhancing our reputation, delivering value, innovating, and ensuring the supportability and reliability of the services.
This role is truly challenging, requiring resilience, flexibility, and responsiveness.
You will work closely with various stakeholders internal and external across several technologies in a multi-vendor environment.
The role sits within the Service Integration and Management team of Victoria Police's Information, Communication & Digital Technology (ICDT) Division. ICDT exists to deliver the Technology Products and Services that Victoria Police rely on all day, every day.

**Your duties will include**:

- Assisting the VP ICT Change Manager with assessment of Request for Changes
- Coordinating the Agenda and Minutes for the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and other related forums.
- End-to-end management, delivery, transition & operational integration of multiple IT initiatives for ICT Division.
- Ensure IT Change Requests adhere to the VP IT Change Management instructions, processes and operating procedures and align to the other VP Service Management processes
- Undertaking the assessments against services being transitioned and estimating the effort required
- Ensuring that the service being transitioned integrates with the VP Service Management processes.
- Establishing and maintaining consistent and uniform documentation and standards.
- Ensuring processes are adhered to by external suppliers and other government agencies
- Ensuring new and existing services have consistent practices applied in alignment with VP policy and processes.
- Working cohesively with hybrid teams consisting of internal stakeholders, vendors, external government agencies (DoJ, ACIC etc), project teams and others for RFCs and transition work packages.
- Providing support in closing audit recommendations as identified by internal or external audit teams
- Ensuring meeting Agenda and Minutes are captured and updated, stored as identified and shared with stakeholders after every meeting.
- Providing Monthly reporting and weekly statistics to management as required.

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT Service Management, preferably as an IT Change Coordinator.
- ITIL V3 Foundation or ITIL 4 Foundation certified at a minimum.
- Experience working with ServiceNow.
- Strong time management, prioritisation and organisation skills.
- A positive, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues and foresee potential challenges and proactively propose resolution options.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Information Technology or business is highly desirable.

**Requirements and relevant information**:

- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
