**The Role**
As the End User Support Supervisor at Boddington Gold Mine you will manage, schedule and prioritise end user support on site.
- Ensure the delivery of support of IT facilities on site, including PCs, Mobile devices, printers, Audio Visual and Video Conferencing, meeting rooms facilities and accommodation facilities as required.
- Support daily IT operations, through completion of tasks associated with service planning, service quality and SLA performance, issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Set and align performance goals for the site team to ensure alignment with the Regional and Corporate IT Team goals.
- Ensure a high level of effective engagement between Site, regional and global stakeholders to obtain status and ensure the regional voice & data network, server, storage and end-user environments are effectively maintained and supported.
- Ensure the End User Support team track work in the global system, actions are taken to resolve and close issues in co-ordination with regional and global teams and the Global Service Desk.
- Coordinate site End User Support team engagement in regional and global IT Service delivery meetings and drives for continued improvement.
- Perform root cause analysis, address findings, seek budgets, generate project requests, identify resources and services to ensure continuous improvement is provided to operations related to site IT.
- Supervise and provides broad regional oversight for service providers involved in completing end-user support and preventative maintenance of site IT facilities or other service delivery, as applicable.
- Ensure site facilities and other support documentation is accurate and maintained on a timely basis for those areas of responsibility
- Coordinates site End User Support team engagement with regional and global teams to define processes and is responsible for site implementation and compliance with processes related to IT facilities or service delivery, as applicable.
- Escalates high severity issues and chronic problems to appropriate management and coordinates timely follow-through with customers and IT peers on IT service requests and tasks for which the End User Support team is responsible.
- Work directly with key regional and site business leaders to ensure concerns are addressed appropriately and new opportunities are vetted.
- Lead and participates in various site IT projects as needed.
- Ensures End User Support team is trained on and adheres to Newmont’s methodologies, policies, procedures and standards.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of end user training related to new site IT systems and processes.
