Digital designers are part of our Brand & Creative specialty alongside Brand designers, Motion designers, Videographers, Photographers etc.. Canva’s in-house creative team is on a mission to make Canva the most loved brand in the world. We work from concept to creation on world-class creative across brand communications, marketing campaigns, editorial content and production.

Digital design plays a critical role at the crossroads of Brand, Marketing and Product. We have millions of people visiting our landing pages everyday and you will be responsible for making sure this first interaction with our brand is memorable by building creative, user-friendly and on-brand digital experiences that drive users to the product and inspire them to create a design. It is an incredible opportunity to help increase our brand awareness and also have a direct impact on our MAUs and ARR company goals.

We looking for talented individuals with skills across the below Design specialities:
Content Design
- Content Designers collaborate closely with PMs, Designers, Engineers and Design Researchers to identify solutions that prioritise our users’ needs.
- You’ll own Content Design research and can champion best practices for studies and experiments in the messaging space.
- You’ll have incredible writing chops and an impressive content design portfolio, and are a stickler for brand voice, consistency and style.
- You’ll use your writing skills and User Experience principles to craft UX copy that helps Canva users to collaborate without the headaches.
- You’ll also work with the rest of the Content Design team to solve problems we’re all facing, so we can continue to build a robust, thriving specialty.
- You’ll create frictionless and friendly copy that isn’t just for show - it’ll move the needle on the metrics that matter at Canva.
- You’ll balance big-picture thinking and nailing the details.
- You’re not afraid of complex problems - in fact, that’s where you thrive.
- You know how to get buy-in from key stakeholders. You’ve got a track record of bringing people on the journey with you - they know what’s changing and why.

Design Operations
- Manage our key Marketing and Creative campaigns from brief to delivery
- Find opportunities to improve and build on processes and systems to help mobilise a fast-growing, global team
- Manage the intake of project requests through maintenance and ongoing management of the project & resource management system
- Partner with the appropriate external partner or agency to ensure the highest level of creative quality, production and delivery
- Assist with regular cross functional communications and relationship building with key cross functional partners

Brand Design
- Contribute to creative solutions for Canva’s new product launches, landing pages and a wide range of other digital communication assets.
- Develop design guidelines and toolkits for high priority brand campaigns
- Create and manipulate a diverse range of content (digital and motion) that brings Canva to life in exciting creative executions
- Collaborate with a team of writers, designers, art director, animators, videographers and marketers to bring our brand campaigns to life in unique and unforgettable ways
- Familiarise yourself with the performance of your work and learn for future executions.

Design UX Research
- From understanding user problems and needs, to helping define a vision for a new feature or product (foundational); to evaluating Beta products to ensure that utility and delight is offered to users (evaluative).
