**The Role**

The Sports Administrator will be responsible for administrative tasks including managing program bookings, maintaining databases, and liaising with parents, students, suppliers, associate schools and sports coaches, under the guidance of the Director of Sports and leadership team. The Sports Administrator will also support the Health Administrator in providing administrative and practical support in relation to the school's first aid.

This role requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to all sections of the community, including staff, students and parents, as well as strong ICT skills and a shared interest in sports. The Sports Administrator will have personal attributes that display, loyalty, and trustworthiness and is proactive and able to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy school environment.

This is a full-time ongoing position, with working hours being 8am - 4.06pm and is based primarily at the Keilor East campus working closely with our Director of Sport, Coordinators of Sport and Sports Administration Assistant to assist with the administration of the school's secondary sports and co-curricular programmes.

The following skills and experiences will be highly valued:

- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Effective organisational and prioritising abilities, managing competing tasks and deadlines in a busy school setting.
- Strong customer service focus, delivering outstanding support to students and staff.
- High attention to detail, accurately drafting, formatting documents, and proofreading material.
- Proficiency in software programs and database management, including data entry and reporting (experience with Synergetic, Schoolbox and Clipboard would be of benefit).
- Strong administrative skills, including typing, drafting letters, and conducting mail merges.
- High level of computer literacy, proficient in MS Suite, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams.
- Problem-solving skills, effectively addressing challenges that may arise.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in sports administration or in schools will be of benefit
- Discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Alignment with the school's values and policies.
- A Working With Children Check is required for this position.

The Sports Administrator will be a service-focused individual who relates well to teenage students and staff and shares a love of sports. They will be loyal, trustworthy, proactive, and able to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy school environment.

**The School**

The school offers a broad range of sports, including athletics, cricket, golf, tennis, volleyball, swimming, triathlon, softball, touch football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, hockey, soccer, cross-country, netball, football, fencing and fitness.
