**The role**

My client is a house builder using modern construction methods to build attractive and innovative homes, many of which are custom homes. They are looking for a Design and Drafting Manager who will take the Design Brief with clients and produce concept drawings. You will then oversee the design team including both in house and outsourced draftspeople as they produce the construction documentation. Duties will include:

- Taking the Design brief
- Managing workflow of the design team
- Liaison with the pre-con team to ensure the projects move promptly to construction
- Quality control of the work of the Design and Drafting team

This builder uses ArchiCAD - As such it is essential that you are skilled in ArchiCAD.

**About you**

You must be an ArchiCAD user who has experience working in a similar role for an Australian housebuilder. You must have the right to work in Australia, and have excellent communication skills as you will be leading a team and managing the design briefing process with the client.
