**About The Opportunity**

As the Technical Specialist, based at our Fortitude Valley office in Brisbane, you will play a vital support role for customers of our data management solution, Micromine Geobank. Being at the forefront of client interactions, your work will solidify customer relationships and ensure their satisfaction with Micromine's products and services

Reporting directly to the Technical Support Team Lead (Data Systems), your key responsibilities will include:

- Scoping, configuring, and deploying Micromine Geobank for customers.
- Ensuring enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised and resolved.
- Providing input during the product development cycle.
- BETA testing new versions and products to check improved functionality.
- Providing general IT support for staff within the Brisbane office, including hardware and software, as well as new starter setup.

**About You**

You will have an interest in computer software as well as proven experience within help desk, technical support, or database administration positions.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering, or another related technical discipline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including configuration and usage.
- Experience with importing and exporting SQL databases.
- Prior exposure to basic IT support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computers and office equipment.
- Whilst not essential, previous experience within the Mining industry will help you hit the ground running.
