**Job description**

At our busy Allied Health Practice, we need a hand. Specifically, we need someone with experience in the NDIS space, specifically the SIL, STA/MTA and SDA areas of the sector. Ideally someone who has worked in an allied health practice.

**About Us**:
Based in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide, Pearson Allied Health Services (PAHS) specialise in providing allied health services to children, young people, and adults with disabilities. Offering a flexible service, sessions can take place in our office or within the community. Our goal is to provide a true person-centred service while working within a trans-disciplinary team. Established in 2014, our therapy team has grown to include Support Coordinators, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Behavioural Therapists, our animal team, short term accommodation, day programs and our mentor support team.

**The Opportunity**:
PAHS is looking for a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Manager. This role requires the person to have a significant knowledge of the NDIS space, specifically the SIL, STA/MTA and SDA areas of the sector. We would also like someone who has previous knowledge and/or experience:
**About You**

With a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, you will work collaboratively with a range of relevant stakeholders delivering quality services.

If you are able to manage a high and varied workload, organise priorities and take initiative, then this may be the role for you.

**Tasks and duties**
- Overseeing a team of 10+ Support Workers
- Assisting (when required) with rostering a team of 20+ Support Workers
- Conducting and attending Stakeholders Meetings and leadership meetings
- Completing Risk Assessments, NDIS service agreements and other documents to ensure the smooth transition of participants.
- Organising staff training (PBSP, RP etc)
- Experience reporting Restrictive Practice actions to the NDIA
- Maintaining NDIS Compliance
- Onboarding of new Participants/SIL's
- Reviewing support plans and other documents to ensure high standards
- Provide supervision to team leaders etc
- Manage complaints and feedback

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Experience in working in the field.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and forge working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Evidence of high level of organisational skills and demonstrated time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Evidence of ability to think innovatively, be proactive and exercise judgement and decision-making within policy and procedural guidelines.
- Ability to work autonomously and recognise when matters require escalating.

- Current NDIS Worker Check
- Working with Children's check
- NDIS Orientation certificate
- Working Right: Passport, Visa or Citizenship
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Drivers Licence - Must be P2 or Fully Licensed
- Car insurance and registration
