**What we’re looking for**:
This position is responsible for the performance of workers compensation claims administrative duties that support the provision of leading care and support to our injured workers.

**The role**:

- Gather required Workers Compensation information to lodge claims according to State based timeframes.
- Lodgement of Workers Compensation claims, incidents and injuries.
- Enter claim information into claims management system.
- Request and gather supporting documents from claimants and relevant parties.
- Maintain organised and comprehensive claims files.
- Assist in the collection and preparation of information required for the calculation of workers compensation benefit payments.
- Assist in ad-hoc tasks which may include follow up phone calls and assisting in wage reimbursement processes.
- Support the team with incident investigations and end‐to‐end case management of claims.
- Accurately complete administrative tasks associated with injury management and worker’s compensation, including file notes, Return to Work Plans and the maintenance of documentation on Affinity Safety Alert System.
- Liaise with injured workers, health professionals, insurance agents, rehabilitation providers

**About you**:

- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Training preferred
- Administration Qualifications
- Proven experience in administration, insurance, medical, or a similar role/industry.
- Prior knowledge of worker’s compensation or insurance claims preferred.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and navigate new systems.
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing workloads and priorities.
- A positive and friendly demeanour with a strong customer service focus.
- Collaborative team player.
- High attention to detail.
