Maintenance Officer

BG Brisbane is a Fresh Produce Wholesaler within the Brisbane Fruit & Vegetable markets at Rocklea. Owing to growth in our Produce Packing facilities we have an opportunity for a part-time General Maintenance Officer.

**About the Role**

Maintenance Officer is responsible for providing general maintenance to the overall business as well as maintaining and repairing our packing machinery.

This position is onsite maintenance only.

The types of services you will provide include:

- Maintaining and repairing our packing machinery and packing lines.
- General maintenance around the business
- Completing records all maintenance of.

This role requires early starts, from 4.00am finishing at 10.00am.

**About You**

You are an experienced, highly organised Maintenance Officer with a proven capability to self-manage and prioritise. Your excellent communication skills and compassionate nature will allow to you to build relationships with our Team.

In order to be successful in this role your skills knowledge and experience will include:

- Applied knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements, or the ability to acquire within one month of employment.
- Demonstrated experience in a handyman/maintenance role.
- Current driver's licence.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $29.40 per hour

Schedule:

- Morning shift

- Rocklea, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
