**The Opportunity**:
As our Driver Trainer and Compliance Officer based in Rocklea (4106), you will implement and monitor the heavy vehicle driver onboarding process for new recruits and the verification of competency (VOC) process for existing drivers of heavy vehicles across the business. In addition to this you will support the business with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) elements such as fatigue and mass management.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Providing essential appraisal regarding driver competency and driving behaviour for potential new starters
- Providing ongoing assessment of heavy vehicle driver capability, including Chain of responsibility (CoR) awareness, training, monitoring and support
- Provide training to white collar operations staff around COR and support in COR breach management
- Driving the development of strategies aimed at eliminating heavy vehicle incidents
- Assist in developing strategies to improve driver efficiency and flow on reduction in fleet maintenance costs, fuel consumption and emissions

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- MC Drivers Licence
- Previous relevant heavy vehicle driver assessment/training experience
- Computer literacy
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
- Heavy vehicle instruction/assessment qualifications highly regarded
