- This position will undertake technical, analysis, and planning tasks associated with State Emergency Service programs, projects, and business priorities, including the Community Flood and Storm Resilience Program, and Flood Intelligence Capability Project.**Period of Appointment**:
Fixed term, full time for 2 years

**Hours per fortnight**:
73.5 hours

**Duties**:
This position will undertake technical, analysis, and planning tasks associated with State Emergency Service programs, projects, and business priorities, including the Community Flood and Storm Resilience Program, and Flood Intelligence Capability Project.

**Essential Requirements**:
**Pre-Employment Checks**
- Arson and fire setting;
- Sexual offences;
- Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
- Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
- Making false declarations;
- Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
- Malicious damage and destruction to property
- Trafficking of narcotic substance;
- False alarm raising.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Experience in a natural hazards context, or a similar field.
- A current driver’s licence.
