**Program Manager - Capital Delivery Team**
Utilise your project management skills in a unique heritage environment to keep our incredible works on track. **What the opportunity is**:
- Employment with Museums of History NSW.
- Clerk Grade 7/8 Remuneration package includes salary ($106,025 - $117,363), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Full-time employment on an ongoing basis.
- The role will work across Sydney.
**What we do**
Established in December 2022, Museums of History NSW brings together the historic houses, museums and collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast archives and records in the NSW State Archives Collection.
As custodians and storytellers, we are committed to preserving and presenting NSW’s unique history. Our places and collections, including the State Archives Collection, comprise some of the most significant historical sites and material in the country. With this as our foundation, we bring history to life through diverse voices and viewpoints, supporting audiences of all backgrounds to gain fresh perspectives on our past.

Museums of History NSW is a state cultural institution, established under the Museums of History NSW Act 2022. It is an agency of the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport.
**What you’ll do with us**
The Program Manager administers the reporting and performance of a range of construction and conservation projects within the built environment. The role is responsible for working collaboratively with the Capital Team Project Managers to provide regular updates on project budget and progression to stakeholders

**What you need to do to apply**

- Please outline your experience in managing major projects. What were the key challenges you faced in managing competing priorities and what were the outcomes?
- Good interpersonal skills will be critical for this role. Can you describe a project you have worked on that demonstrates your ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and staff, and how you manage situations in which teams may have competing needs?
**Essential requirements of the role**:
- Experience in preparing technical and project documentation including programs, cost/ budget reports.
- Experience in working on Projects in the Build Environment and Assets Renewal.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Applications Project and Excel.
- Willingness to work across and ability to travel to multiple work locations.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

- To be eligible for an ongoing role in the NSW Public Sector you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. For temporary and casual roles, you need to hold a valid visa giving you permission to work in Australia as required by the role.
- A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months.
