**About the role**

As a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the front desk, providing administrative support, and assisting in the coordination of various tasks within the company.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Front Desk Management**
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area

**Administrative Support**
- Provide general administrative support to the team
- Filing, scanning and undertaking day-to-day data entry and record management
- Booking and rescheduling appointments
- Assisting in coordinating the admission process, and rental and spending statements
- POS administration including money handling
- Manage and organise office files, records, and documentation
- Assisting with administration requirements for visiting GPs

**Communication**
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and information
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and external partners
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and offices
- Liaising with pharmacists and coordinating orders for prescribed medications
- Organising GP consultation lists and liaising with hospitals and allied health

**About You**
- Professional and personable verbal and written communication
- Empathetic and compassionate with a client-focused attitude to tasks
- Strong computer literacy and intermediate experience in Microsoft Office suite
- The ability to follow instructions and seek clarification as required
- Ability to work calmly and think logically in an often fast-paced environment
- Experience in the disability or mental health environment, or working with diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Proven experience in balancing customer service duties with daily administrative processes
- Have lots of confidence, energy, and focus

You must have, or be willing to obtain, a current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

*Medical reception experience is highly desirable

**How to Apply**

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Mount Gravatt East, QLD 4122 (preferred)

Work Location: In person
