**Agricultural Environmental Consultant - Livestock Systems**

Our client is an industry-leading agricultural and environmental consultancy working across all major agricultural industries, regionally, nationally and internationally. Their work spans from consultancy services to major agribusinesses to industry RD&E, with expanding opportunities in sustainability/carbon assessment and advisory services. The business are industry leaders in carbon footprinting, water footprinting, nutrient management and environmental management in pigs and poultry.

**About the role**
Our client is seeking an agricultural consultant whose work will contribute to industry-leading R&D projects and consult to major agricultural and agri-food clients in Australia.

You will have the opportunity to utilise your industry knowledge, numerical and analytical skills and knowledge of environmental management to deliver great outcomes to our valued (and growing) client base. It is not expected that graduates would have experience in the specific technical areas, but a demonstrated high level of aptitude in agricultural systems (soils, pastures, crops, livestock) and demonstrated analytical skills are essential. Further, a demonstrated understanding, familiarity and passion for Australian agricultural systems and sustainability is essential.

The role will require working to quality, time and budget constraints. The role will include on-the-job and formal training as required.

**About You**
- You are a graduate or early career professional interested in making a difference in agriculture and the environment. You pursue excellence, have an eye for detail and a focus on client outcomes.
- You have highly developed written communication, numerical and technical skills and the ability to communicate and connect with farmers/clients. A background in agriculture is highly valued.
- You are a team player and can learn on the job and self-educate by taking on new challenges. You are self-motivated and able to work on tasks to see them completed on time within contracted periods.
- A degree or post-graduate degree in agricultural/environmental science or engineering or associated disciplines is essential.
