Switchboard Drafter

Based in Brisbane's inner suburbs - full time position with growth potential

**The Position**
Reporting to the Design Manager, this role is highly autonomous and requires someone who is self-managed and can prioritise their workload.

Your core responsibility will be to design and draft switchboards, and other electrical products, according to customer project specifications. You will also work closely with the Production Team in preparing approved drawings and associated documentation to have over to commence production stage.

You will be involved in projects servicing the Mining, Food and Bev, Water & Waste Water, General Manufacturing industries.

**Your key skills and competencies will include**:

- An Electrical Engineering or trade qualification
- Electrical industry experience and knowledge - switchboards
- Preferred Software Experience - AutoCAD and/or Solid works
- The ability to interpret P&ID's and Electrical Schematics & convert to drawings
- The ability to efficiently complete drawings with a high attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking and honest
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
