**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have an exciting opportunity in our St Mary's store to join our team as we deliver building and home improvement needs and expert advice to our customers, by providing the ultimate customer experience

In this role you will build strong relationships to assist our valued customers and Trade members with your specialist product knowledge and expert advice. As such you will need to have a thorough understanding of the products and services provided by Stratco and be willing to participate in regular training ensure your knowledge is kept up to date.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Serving customers at our Trade counter and pick up areas
- Assisting customers to find innovative solutions using Stratco products and materials
- Order entry and preparing quotations
- Store merchandising, stock control, inventory and purchasing support
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- General housekeeping / store management activities
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

**ABOUT YOU**
- Passionate about creating brand loyalty and building customer relationships
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Previous experience in the building and/or construction industry is preferred
- Willingness to be forklift trained
- Reliable, highly organised, autonomous and able to multitask
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet customer's needs
- Eye for detail with strong administration and data entry skills
- A desire to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
- Possess a genuine aspiration to further develop your career at Stratco

**This is a full-time opportunity, requiring the flexibility to work alternate Saturdays and Sundays.**
