**About The Role**

We are looking for a **Recruitment Partner** to join our team based in Maroochydore & Surrounding sites. The successful applicant will come with a variety of work and life experience, a** ‘can do’** attitude and willingness to look ‘outside the box’, when developing tailored pathways to employment, for our customers who have a disability, illness or injury. Role responsibilities include:

- ** Networking** with Community organisations who work with people with a disability, illness or injury, to explain our services and attract those in our community who need support looking for work
- Engaging with** employers** and gaining an understanding of the local labour market to identify new and ongoing employment opportunities for our customers
- Developing **strong relationships** with customers, both face to face and over the phone, to understand their capacity to work, their employment preferences and what support, skills and knowledge they need to secure suitable employment
- Maintaining regular employer and customer contact after they start work to review their progress and ensure any issues are actioned swiftly
- Assisting our customers to become job ready
- Working with other local community services where required to **address** any **barriers** to employment that our customers may be experiencing
- Gathering documentary evidence to meet participant & department outcomes

**About You**

We are looking for **passionate** people who genuinely want to assist others in our local community; addressing any barriers that prevent our customer from securing ongoing, meaningful employment. You don't need to have experience in our industry, however, here are a few things we are looking for:

- A positive attitude and a **willingness to learn** and adapt to an ongoing changing environment (this is a must)
- The ability to **build rapport** and communicate with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and life experience
- You're not afraid to seek out and consult with local employers and community organisations to develop **employment opportunities** for our customers
- Experience working in a **fast-paced** environment, in a high performance, results focused culture
- Highly organised with strong administrational skills
- A current valid **Driver’s Licence **and **Blue Card** (Working with Children Check) (or ability to obtain prior to commencement) - you will also be required to undertake a **National Police Check** prior to commencement
