**About the role**:
This role involves managing and growing Ampol’s relationships and profitability with customers in the Franchised Automotive Dealers market through a combination of existing and new business.

This is an autonomous and highly visible role for a self-motivated person who has the desire or professional sales growth.

The territory includes but is not limited to Perth Metro and regional areas of Southwest and Mid-West of WA, with some travel required day/overnight.

This role will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will be part of a national B2B sales team with high energy colleagues based in other states.

This is a permanent role and is Home Office based with networking in the Corporate Office in Jandakot, WA as required. Embrace Ampol’s flexibility dependent on scheduled delivery outcomes and stakeholder engagement requirements.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Sell and promote the full range of Mobil Lubricants and services to national and regional customers and prospects to meet agreed sales volume and revenue objectives.
- Maintain a sales pipeline designed to deliver on Ampol’s Franchised Automotive Dealers business plan
- Deliver on Ampol’s B2B Customer Value Proposition through use of available tools and resources
- Work with customers to identify options to develop decarbonization plans
- Work cross functionally to deliver value to Ampol and the customers involved
- Foster strong working peer relationships among B2B team and other business stakeholders

**About you**:
You will have 5+ years of proven experience in a Sales position with a focus on acquiring profitable new customers; kicking down some doors and winning new business will be in your wheelhouse.

Your background being within a commercial Business to Business (B2B) environment including, automotive, large transport or industrial (eg cement or paper).

Account management skills and the ability to demonstrate building strong relationships and consistently added value to existing customers is your secondary focus.

Supporting your business acumen and tenacity, you’ll ideally have a determined nature to join a company that’s going places.

We are open to background as you’ll have access to Ampol’s Sales Academy for training and technical product knowledge upskilling.

**Key skills and experience**:

- Action oriented person, able to drive key sales project outcomes
- Exceptional customer relationship and negotiation skills
- Networking skills across focus market segments
- Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
- Innovative thinker with the ability to conceptualise, develop and implement complex proposals
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Marketing, Commerce or Business will be highly regarded but is non-essential
