Functions & Marketing Manager

**Position Overview**:
As the Functions and Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing all aspects of all functions and events, from initial inquiry to successful execution. Additionally, you will spearhead our marketing efforts, including social media management and website maintenance, to ensure our venue maintains a strong online presence and attracts new customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding functions, providing information, and guiding clients through the planning process.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget, and tailor function packages to meet their needs.
- Manage all aspects of function planning, including booking spaces, arranging catering, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing event logistics.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our venue's functions and attract potential clients.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms to showcase our venue, events, and offerings.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries and feedback, and engage with our online community to build relationships and foster brand loyalty.
- Regularly update and maintain the venue's website, ensuring accurate information, attractive visuals, and seamless functionality.
- Collaborate with the broader team to brainstorm new ideas, initiatives, and promotions to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Analyze marketing metrics and function performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven 1-2 years experience in event planning, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies and content.
- Familiarity with website content management on WIX, coding not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support functions and events.

**Join Our Team**:
**Working Hours: 3 days a week minimum, potential for more based on work load.**

**Salary: Negotiable**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
