Cyber Security Analyst

This is a part-time Cyber Security Analyst position perfectly suitable for students or people at the start of their career willing to get into Cyber Security space:
Location: Sydney based, mostly remote work, on-site occassionally.

Duration: Initial 3 months, likely to extend.

**Job Description**:
As a part-time Cyber Security Analyst, you will assist in protecting our client organization's computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting Vulnerability management process and tools,
- Coordinating vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborating with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Researching and recommending security solutions
- Assisting in security awareness training and compliance

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity (internships, projects, or part-time jobs) (desired, not mandatory)
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals, threat analysis, and risk management
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
