**Risk & Compliance Manager - Technology**
**Location Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, or Tasmania**
**Salary $150K Plus Super and Incentives**

**Our Client**:
Is a fast-growing technology innovator within Data Centre technology.

**Role**:
This is a newly created role, reporting to the General Counsel and tasked with managing risk and compliance across the business.

There will be a strong focus on technology-related risk and compliance matters including information security and cyber security. However, you will need to cover the full spectrum of risk and compliance matters including health safety and environmental and general regulatory compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of existing risk and compliance processes.
- Development of new risk and compliance processes.
- Management of existing accreditations such as ISO27001 and DISP and leading projects to obtain further accreditations.
- Provision of risk and compliance advice to senior leaders.
- Facilitate risk and compliance forums and committees.
- Training of employees on risk and compliance matters.

**Experience desired to succeed in the role**:

- 5 + years in a risk & compliance role, ideally with time spent in one or more technology-focused businesses.
- Australian Citizen with the ability to gain NV1 or NV2 Clearance.
- Tertiary qualification in technology, accounting, finance, legal or other relevant disciplines
- Sound knowledge of the risks and compliance challenges that technology-focused businesses face.
- Technically savvy and experienced with technology platforms.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills.
