**The role**:
You will be responsible for staying updated with laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to the industry and ensuring compliance within the organization. This includes developing and implementing systems and processes to meet regulatory requirements, conducting audits to identify non-compliance areas, and creating action plans for rectification.
Additionally, you will establish and maintain a comprehensive quality improvement framework. In this position, you will lead initiatives to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that enhance service delivery and resident outcomes. You will also analyse quality data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

Managing risks related to quality and compliance is another crucial aspect of this role. You will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential risks, developing strategies to mitigate them, and implementing incident management processes for reporting, investigation, and resolution. You will provide guidance and support to staff in incident reporting and learning from adverse events, as well as collaborate with stakeholders to develop risk management plans.

In this role, you will be responsible for staff education and training, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of accountability. You will serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies and facilitate external audits. You will also stay informed about industry trends and best practices through participation in networks and conferences.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Understanding of HCP, CHSP and NDIS sectors.
- Experience in auditing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance and quality assessment within Aged Care and NDIS sector.
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA (preferred)
- Accreditation in Quality Assessing
- NDIS Workers Check and Orientation module or willingness to complete
- Current Drivers' License
- Access to fully insured car
- Current Police Check
