**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Adviser to support our operations and retail stores across Australia on a range of Recruitment, Workplace Relations and Generalist HR matters.

This role is full-time and based at the Betts Group Head Office in Osborne Park. It is a rare opportunity to be an integral part of the national retail industry while being based in Perth.

**Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will take responsibility for**:

- Working closely with the leadership team and other stakeholders such as the National Retail Manager, Regional Retail Managers and Store Managers to provide timely and accurate HR advice and support
- Supporting Managers with recruitment and on-boarding
- Developing, monitoring and updating HR initiatives including but not limited to; policies, procedures, employment contracts, Industrial Flexibility Arrangements and WGE reporting
- Researching and assisting with interpretation of the relevant award, enterprise agreement and legislation
- Working closely with payroll to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and to address payroll queries from employees (no operational payroll responsibilities required)
- Case Management of disciplinary matters, workers’ compensation matters and occupational, health and safety matters
- General transactional and administrative HR duties
- Undertaking project work as required

**To be successful in the role, you must be able to demonstrate you have**:

- A tertiary or relevant qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years strong generalist post-graduate HR/IR experience
- Ability to critically analyse and resolve issues
- Excellent communication skills and proven well-developed written skills
- A strong work ethic with a drive to achieve results
- Ability to work independently
- Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously & meet deadlines
- Experience with World Manager would be an advantage.
