About the role
We are on the hunt for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our exceptional team. This role is a pivotal role within our business and sits on our Leadership Team. You must be highly motivated and a self - starter, who is ready to provide valuable HR coordination and support to key stakeholders within Hydraulink Australia and its network of Franchises and Distributors.
You must be able to demonstrate experience in the successful delivery of end-to-end HR functions, including your ability to work to best practice and with legislative requirements as well as confidently manage all Employee Relations matters. A further key component of the role is end to end recruitment, from advertising to offer stage.
This is a fast-paced role, that also requires you to be hands on, so your ability to work well at this level, as well as under pressure, meeting conflicting deadlines whilst building effective relationships with all stakeholders will be key. Most importantly, you'll be a team player with a can-do attitude who is committed and willing to go the extra mile to enable our people to be their best. **Your key responsibilities day to day include**:
- Be the go-to person for advice and support on all HR and Employee Relations matters including performance management, misconduct, and other
- Manage and maintain Recruitment, Selection, and Induction procedures and process including new starter documentation
- Maintain electronic HR files and the HR Information System (ELMO)
- Manage and maintain performance review process
- Provide ongoing coaching, training and support on HR best practice to managers
- Partner with managers to provide advice on all employment relations matters
- Ensure all documentation is legally compliant and best practice
- Coach and assist managers in HR processes
- Maintain employment agreements and position descriptions for all staff
- Interpret award entitlements terms and conditions
- Manage and maintain company policies/procedures
- Project Manage the annual salary review process
- Support our network (Franchises and Distributors)
- Attend Conferences, meetings and other events and undertake periodic travel as required
About the person
- Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience
- Experience with HRIS systems, ELMO is preferred
- Confidence, with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Experience and a high level of competence in dealing with employee relations matters
- Able to meet deadlines, and conscientious with time management
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels of the business
- An excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to earn trust and credibility
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, but also must be enthusiastic team player
- A willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions based on experience, education and understanding of business needs
- Tertiary qualification or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
