The role of the Manager Strategy and Government Relations is to oversee the RTA's performance management framework, including development of strategy and action plans to support both the RTA's Strategic Plan and the rental sector in Queensland. This role is pivotal in leading and managing the Government Relations team, functions and initiatives, whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Extensive experience in the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships across a wide range of government and non-government organisations and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in government reporting requirements, including Service Delivery Statements and Budget Estimates process
- Demonstrated experience in the research, development and implementation of strategic planning, reporting, including Key Performance Measures and stakeholder engagement programs and initiatives
- Strong leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to conduct expert environmental scanning and risk analysis in order to provide advice and support on performance, issues, trends and opportunities relating to strategic and operational objectives
- Strong ability to maintain composure under pressure and effectively make decisions in fast-paced environments when faced with competing priorities and strict deadlines
- High level communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
