C4I Solutions is actively seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager to assist the Land Capability Executive with a number of risk reduction activities.
This role offers an initial 12-month opportunity, with potentially 2 x 12-month extension options.

**About the role**:
- The Commonwealth seeks Industry participation to provide capability management services to conduct a number of risk reduction activities that will inform the Land domains future tactical network architecture. The services will be provided as part of an integrated team within Army Headquarters, working with the project and the Land Network Integration Centre - Army (LNIC-A), and providing reporting into CASG Project Office's.

**Role requirements**:
- Lead, manage, synchronise and support three risk reduction activities being conducted within LNIC-A.
Produce risk reduction activity management plan within the first two weeks of engagement, including refining the activity schedule, resource and budget profile.
Develop statements of work for the engagement of SMEs to conduct the tasks within the risk reduction activities, a week after the development of the management plan.
Produce monthly report tracking progress against activity schedule, resource allocation, budget expenditure, decisions required, risks to delivery, and the anticipated date for the completion of risk reduction activities.
Plan, coordinate and conduct testing to validate architectures with the SMEs, delivering a report within one week of a test activity completion.
Develop the reports detailing the outcomes from the risk reduction activities with the SMEs, including management of artefacts developed, including providing quality assurance.
Provide written recommendations on project elements that reduce the risk to L200-3 delivery to support decision making prior to Government consideration.
Plan, manage and coordinate the LNIC-A L200-3 risk reduction activity resources and deliverables.
Conduct regular checkpoints to ensure risk reduction activities are on track for completion.
Hold Integrated Project Team meetings to ensure stakeholders are informed of risk reduction activity status and raising items requiring decision.
Ensure T&E environments are planned for and ready for testing activities.
Work collaboratively with the CASG project teams managing TCN capabilities, including the CASG risk reduction activity manager to harmonise efforts with the broader Land 200 programs risk reduction activities.
Work collaboratively with the LNIC-A LCS team to ensure LCS designs for the BCS align to the wider LCS architectures.
Work collaboratively with the LNIC-A BattleLab team to schedule lab access time to conduct testing.
Liaise with LNIC-A Engineering, ICT Security C&A, ILS, Configuration and Change Management as required.
Liaise with other LNIC-A teams to ensure alignment to the Land Data Model, Land Integration Framework, and Generic Architectures.
Any other services as directed by the Defence Representative.

**Qualifications & experience**:
- **Essential**:
- Extensive experience with design, build, and test functions of ICT Systems, RF communications, Networks and associated Software.

**Desired**:
- Demonstrated evidence of working within, and leading, multi-discipline ICT teams.
Experience with design, build and test functions of C4I Systems, Networks and associated Software.
Experience in maintaining and operating engineering design and systems competence and operations.
Knowledge of National WHS legislative requirements and Military Safety policies and standards including their applicability to Safety, Risk and Hazard management.
Experience in producing technical documentation.
Knowledge of deployable ADF command and control systems.
Experience with conducting data and configuration management, particularly within documentation, and software and hardware baselines.
Experience with the use of Defence standards, processes and systems

**Additional essential criteria**:
- Must hold a minimum AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (NV1)
Must be able to travel if required
