Our team is growing, as a result we are looking for a **Café Assistant** superstar to join Part-Time, ongoing.

As a **Cafe Assistant,** you will be part in all facets of the cafe operation, including basic food preparation, serving, cleaning and cash register operation if required. We will guarantee that the food is tasty and our coffee is some of the best in the Northern Suburbs, and we have the friendliest team

You will be working as part of the genU **Business Enterprises** division who provide supported employment for people living with a disability. We are a social enterprise, committed to providing a supportive work environment while operating to the highest commercial standards.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices;
- Efficient worker who can work well in a busy environment;
- High level communication skills;
- Ability to work well within a team environment and alongside people of all abilities;
**You will need the following checks**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' Certificate of Completion or willingness to obtain;
- All applicants for this role must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and meet the requirements of the genU Covid-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccinations during the recruitment process.
