**The Position**

Position Title: Hospital In The Home (HITH)/Perioperative Medicine/Infectious Diseases (ID) Registrar
Classification: HM25 to HM30
Salary per hour (exc. super): as per award
Hours per fortnight: 86
Employment Status: 1 x 6 month full time Registrar position commencing February 2023 until August 2023

**Role Description**

The Hospital In The Home (HITH)/Perioperative Medicine/Infectious Diseases (ID) Registrar position is a key contact for medical advice on the hospital site and whilst this can be challenging we hope you find the experience rewarding and enjoy working with other Medical Registrars, your unit Consultants and a broad representation of the hospital junior and senior medical staff as well as some very experienced nursing colleagues.

The HITH/Peri-operative/ID Registrar position has been designed to provide a wide range of opportunities in HITH, Peri-operative Medicine and ID with time spent in the ward, at clinics (HITH Telehealth, Peri-operative and ID outpatient clinics), supporting the COVID Virtual Home Monitoring program and participating in training opportunities. The responsibilities for HITH/Peri-operative Medicine and ID are shared between two registrars across the 7-day week, with this role having more focus on HITH and Peri-operative Medicine and the partnered role having a more ID focus.
