**The Position**:
We are seeking an Account Executive who will be responsible for bringing new restaurants onto our dining network through a consultative sales approach. OpenTable relies on our Account Executives to advise on their local markets to our Marketing and Product teams to impact company-wide strategies on how to grow our business. This position will report to the District Manager and collaborate alongside Account Managers and Executives.
**In this role, you will**:
- Target, identify, and present customised in-person and online demos to sell OpenTable products to restaurants.
- Champion and build upon existing high-level relationships to serve as a trusted adviser to our market's client base.
- Drive revenue by connecting with restaurateurs and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful.
- Educate and support customers about trends in the industry and offer rare insights to think differently about their business.
- Use Salesforce to develop and complete strategic plans, build reliable forecasts and process contracts.
- Understand and adapt to ongoing product and technology development to generate business plans to define selling strategies and tactics. Listen to the needs of the market and share with the Product and Marketing teams.
- Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
- Restaurant management and/or sales experience are highly preferred. Understanding of economic and industry drivers and their implications on the restaurant business, including identifying new business opportunities.
- Outstanding negotiating skills to drive business value during sales engagements.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.
- Experience in capturing data to persuade others to develop compelling strategies and decision-making that deliver results.
- Skilled at communicating new points of view to customers that reframe and challenge the way they view their business.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce.
- Ambitious, tenacious and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail for 20-35% of administrative responsibilities.
