**What you'll be doing**
To provide timely and accurate administrative and transactional services to support the Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital’s Outpatient Department.
The position is required to work in a team environment that supports a multi-disciplinary team of staff specialists and clinicians to deliver a service that is patient focussed.
**This is a temporary Part Time 16hpw maternity relief position until 14 February 2025 with the possibility of an extension at same/reduced hours**

**Talent Pool**

A National Police Check (criminal history record check) is a requirement for all new appointments to NSW Health and will be undertaken on preferred applicants, with the informed consent of the applicant.
This role is a **Category A **role. Preferred applicants will be reviewed for compliance and required to maintain compliance with the screening, assessment and vaccination requirements, relevant to your position, as outlined in NSW Health policy directive on Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases.
**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using relevant IT systems including Microsoft Office and specialised database systems.
- Proven accurate data entry skills.
- Proven strong coordination and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of, and commitment to, patient confidentiality.
- Medical Terminology Certificate or an understanding of same from relevant work experience in a medical setting.
