**About the role**

Mater are searching for a Team Leader, Outpatient and Community Services to join the Catherine’s House team on a permanent, full-time basis based at Mater South Brisbane.

Mater is opening Catherine’s House for Mothers, Babies and Families. This will be Australia’s first integrated mental healthcare centre for mothers and fathers to tackle depression, anxiety and other issues experienced by new parents.

With one in five mums and up to one in ten fathers experiencing depression, anxiety and other mental health issues before or after the birth of a child, this new facility will triple the number of public beds in Queensland from 4 to 12 for families in need of perinatal mental health support.

**_ Salary range: commensurate with experience (either NUM or HP5) + super + salary packaging._**

**What you’ll be doing**

The Team Leader will be responsible for Outpatient and Community programs within Catherine’s House. These services include a Parent Support Unit, perinatal psychology, centralised intake service, Together in Mind program and other outpatient services.

The Team Leader will be responsible for a multidisciplinary team and ensure consumers receive a high standard of evidence-based care. The role will monitor a range of key performance indicators and ensure financial sustainability of the service.

The Team Leader will be part of the broader leadership team within Catherine’s House and play a role in service integration, research, workforce development across Catherine’s House and Maters broader mental health services.

The team leader will manage human and financial resources relating to the Outpatient and Community Service. They will also develop a service plan that integrates with the broader Catherine’s House and Mental Health service plans.

The role will be responsible for the governance of the service and integrate the service with Maters broader quality and safety framework. It will also be responsible for developing new outpatient and community services that align with Catherine’s House model of care, including a centralised intake process.

As part of the leadership team there is an expectation that the role may be required to work on projects, assist in other parts of the service and contribute to the broader governance activities of the service.

**About you**

You will have Nursing or Allied Health qualifications. You will also meet the below criteria:

- Expertise in Infant and / or perinatal mental health
- Qualification in health service management
- Experience in an ambulatory setting
- Experience as a team leader
- Research experience / publications
- Data management
- Experience providing clinical supervision

***If the successful applicant is a psychologist:

- Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical, Clinical Neuro, Educational & Developmental or Health Psychology
- PsyBA approved supervisor
- PsyBA area of practice endorsement in Clinical, Clinical Neuro, Educational & Developmental or Health Psychology
