The role

The purpose of this role is to deliver excellence in execution across all retail and concession stores, aligning to the brand strategy for VM and retail, creating brand consistency across all retail and concession stores in Australia and New Zealand, and creating a balance between commercial and creative aspects of Visual Merchandising.

You will drive training and development of the Retail and VM store teams in conjunction with the VM Manager - Divisions, partnering with the retail and VM managers to determine training program needs and schedules.

You will also be accountable for the effective and timely implementation of all aspects of visual merchandising, window creative and promotional activity in line with the brand strategy, VM standards and store profiles.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the design of training and development content for VM and retail teams with the VM Manager Divisions around implementation of new stock changes, merchandising disciplines, and floor fixture layout.
- Accountable for the training and coaching with both retail store and VM teams (within stores) to ensure standards are being supported, maintained, and challenged where necessary.
- Regularly provide feedback to teams on set up of windows and merchandising across the store network.
- Lead and provide feedback to Merchandise teams on profiling, stock levels and VM implementation to constantly improve sales opportunities.
- Review sales results and attend Monday trade meetings, provide feedback from VM set ups in store where required. Identify focuses for the VM team following trade meetings.
- Manage and plan each half product drops and activities to ensure workload is achievable, communicating to VM Regional Managers and retail teams focuses for each season.
- Ensure VM Regional Managers are clear on direction and focuses each month, updating windows in between launches considering sell through.
- Manage the communication to the team around monthly layouts and mannequin key look changes and any prop changes with creative.
- Manage the time frame of communication with the VM Manager - Divisions to ensure timely and accurate information for each lifestyle is delivered to the VM and retail teams.
- Understand the brand, retail and VM strategy ensuring projects, training and Big Moments are delivered.
- Communicate to VM Regional Managers and wider retail and VM team key KPIs and goals to deliver the strategic growth plan and hold accountable for achieving.
