About the Role:
We are Seeking a motivated and well organised Sourcing Specialist to Join our team for 12 months Maternity Cover. The Sourcing Specialist provides expertise in data analysis, process orientation and development tools in order to leverage the procurement strategy.

Job scope:

- Performs assigned analyses of market conditions and trends within the interest areas of FLSmidth as a basis for decision making.
- Monitors the market and performs analyses of market conditions to contribute to the overall cost efficiency of the procurement organization.
- Secures the global spend management system is working and provides spend reporting to different parts of the procurement organisation.
- Gives input to development of own area and shares bests practices to contribute to the development of global strategies.
- Compiles specific reports and performs calculations to support Procurement, Sales and Projects.
- Leads projects around specialized area within global procurement to support deployment of global procurement strategy.
- Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.

What you bring:

- Previous buying experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business preferred. Equivalent experience acceptable.
- Individual should possess a sense of urgency, be proactive, customer-driven, and motivated.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, good time management skills.
- Pleasant demeanor, good with co-workers, calm in high pressure situations.
- Organization skills and ability to prioritize work based on appropriate requirements.
- Good with data, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
- Understands procurement process including vendor selection and order placement.
- Commercial and technical knowledge in offer evaluations.
- Blueprint reading is desirable.
- Experience with international suppliers is a plus.
- Excellent coordination skills.
