**Grade 3 Temporary Full-Time Dispensary Manager**

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic pharmacist to join our motivated team at Sunshine Hospital in a temporary full-time capacity until 14th January 2024 to manage the Sunshine Hospital and Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital Pharmacy Department Dispensaries.

This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your management experience as you will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of dispensary services to inpatients and outpatients as well as supervising and training dispensary staff including interns, students and pharmacy technicians.

As a leader, you will be responsible for the line management of dispensary pharmacists and the senior Grade 4 pharmacy technician who oversees the technician stream. In addition you will undertake an operational role in the provision of dispensary services to patients of Western Health thereby providing an excellent opportunity to develop and extend your dispensary and clinical experience in a variety of areas.

With clinical services across Western Health expanding, this role is a significant opportunity to participate in various quality improvement and capital development projects including the new Sunshine Hospital Pharmacy Department Expansion.

**To be Successful in this Role you**
- Will have a proven ability to operate at a high level in dispensary services
- Must be able to show leadership and manage dispensary and pharmacy technician staff.
- Need the capacity to assign priority to responsibilities and to meet time constraints.
- Will be committed to patient focused service development.
- Will have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with direct reports, other pharmacy staff including management as well as other internal Western Health and external stakeholders.
