**The role**
The TAFE SA Procurement and Contracts management team comes from diverse industry backgrounds and display a genuine openness to fresh ideas and contemporary practices in procurement and contracts management. Be part of the success story providing high quality leadership to the Procurement and Contract Management function that ultimately delivers value to TAFE SA.
This role is a unique opportunity to work on delivering key projects and driving TAFE SA forward in their strategic plan. **Your new role will involve**:
- Developing the most effective financial approach to the delivery of goods & services, enabling value for money outcomes for TAFE SA.
- Leadership and coaching of the Procurement function, embedding a team culture of high performance, professionalism and continuous improvement.
- Application of your strategic mindset and exercising significant levels of independent judgement to contemporary procurement solutions.
- Having a program approach of the procurement portfolio.
- Working within the SA Government Procurement framework.
- Contributing to TAFE SA’s strategic plan and the functions objectives.

- You will work with varied and high value contracts, adding diversity to your knowledge base and existing contracts management skill set

- Experience in managing, leading and motivating teams to a high performance.

- Formulate and suggest practical and innovative solutions and implement change and mitigate risk.
- Procurement program or portfolio management expertise.
- Proven ability to lead, develop and manage collaborative, productive and successful working relationships, liaise and negotiate at senior levels and foster trust, co-operation, and support from others.
- Ability to work under very broad direction and exercise a high level of original and strategic thinking, independent judgment, drive and initiative in identifying problems, and taking, or recommending corrective action to address.
