The technical training team's scope includes supporting new starter onboarding and developing people’s technical capability. Training requirements are defined by standardised learning pathway frameworks that incorporate the different levels of experience for new ongoing development within each workstream.

**The Opportunity**

You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the West Angelas Mining Operation.
- Train and assess frontline and new to mining workforce through one-on-one, infield, classroom, or group delivery.
- Collaborate with on-job-trainers (OJTs) to facilitate in-field training in alignment with the weekly training schedule.
- Support Capability Development Supervisor with preparation and delivery of reports to identify training opportunities.
- Engage with frontline leadership to create detailed training plans and execution strategies.
- Support the onboarding process for new starters and create a positive and engaging experience for new Rio Tinto employees.

- ** Mining Experience**: Have hands-on experience in the Mining in Fixed Plant, MEM, or Drill & Blast Operations
- ** Drill & Blast Experience**:Shotfirer, MPU, Epiroc D65 Mk I & II, CAT MD6420 & CAT MD6310.
- ** Effective Time Management**:Possess strong time management skills, the ability to balance multiple and competing priorities, and a demonstrated capacity to support diverse groups in achieving desired outcomes.

**Komatsu AHS Frontrunner qualifications**
- ** Training Qualifications**: possessing an On Job Trainer qualification or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is necessary.
