Deep Creek Child Care Centre is a small, not-for-profit, community managed early childhood education and care service located in Doncaster East. Established in 1985, our service was assessed and rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standards in our last assessment. We are a 48 place centre with 20 skilled and experienced educators delivering an educational program to children aged from 6 months to 5 years.

We are seeking an experienced Educational Leader who will be passionate about developing innovative ways to support educators in achieving and maintaining exceeding practices.

**Role & responsibilities**:

- Ensure programming and documentation compliance in accordance with Early Years Learning Framework.
- Promote positive relationships with children, families and the wider community.
- Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices
- Supporting and mentoring educators to ensure that each child participates in the educational program.
- Support educators to assess each child’s learning and development.
- Working along-side educators to support an effective ongoing cycle of planning, documenting and evaluation.
- Ensuring that educational documentation is suitable for its intended purpose.
- Contributing to the development and ongoing implementation and review of the centres Quality Improvement Plan.

**Experience & Responsibilities**:

- Minimum of 2 year’s experience in mentoring a team as the Educational Leader
- Well organised and know how to prioritise with a proactive approach
- Experience in overseeing and implementing a program based on children's needs and interest
- Strong understanding of compliance and of National Quality Standards (NQF)
- Excellent written and verbal communication

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: From $37.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay
